FAQs
There are two geometry charts; a High and a Low?
There is a ‘flip chip’ on the lower link, where the shock mounts. If you remove the lower shock bolt and flip the chip to the setting you desire.
Should I ride in the high or low setting?
You should try both, but we typically recommend starting in the ‘high’ setting. This will make the bike more agile and easy to get used to. If the terrain you ride on is quite steep, give the ‘low’ setting a try, which lowers the bottom bracket by 3.5mm, slackens the head tube angle by 0.3º and generally biases your weight a little further back.
What size are the disc brakes?
The Megatower uses a 200mm post mount, so you cannot go any smaller is disc size, but you can go bigger with post mount kits.
Can I change the rear shock?
The Megatower was designed to be compatible with most shocks on the market. It will definitely work with Fox and RockShox.
What is the recommended fork for the Megatower?
The geometry is based off a 170mm fork with a 42 or 44mm offset. We wouldn’t recommend less travel than that, as the bottom bracket will get a bit low. Up to 180mm is fine if that’s your preference.
