Sentencing Secured in Burglary That Targeted LIOS Bikes

Two years ago, LIOS Bikes was one of several victims of a targeted burglary spree that affected multiple businesses across Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and Sussex. The group responsible has now been brought to justice.

Four men have been sentenced to a combined total of over 16 years in prison for their role in the conspiracy to burgle, which included 11 break-ins and losses exceeding £200,000 across the region.

While no financial compensation has been awarded (due to the defendants having no assets), the judge acknowledged the significant impact on victims and made it clear that their actions were serious and reprehensible. Our victim impact statement was read out in court and we’re reassured by the weight the judge gave it.
